Learn Spanish On Line – Easy As One, Two, Three

Learn Spanish Language – Smooth Sailing The Process

Learning the Spanish language, as with any other language is a daunting task. There is a lot to learn and it takes a long time to do it. However it seems to be further complicated by a fact I just recently learned. There appear to be many different kinds of Spanish. As with English you expect a language to have different dialects and accents. The people in New York Speak a lot differently form the people Georgia or Minnesota. However the basic structure is the same and the vocabulary is the same. The same is not necessarily true for Spanish.

First of all I learned there is Latin American Spanish and there is Spanish in Spain. These two things appear to actually be quite different. Sure the language is the same, most things are the same, but there are many words that are different and there is an entire verb conjugation that is used in Spain that is not used in parts of Latin America. This should not be a problem right; kind of like the English language in England has words for things that are not used in English in the United States. However, if you use a word in the US that someone would use in England 9 times out of 10 people will know what you are talking about. The same is not true when you learn the Spanish language, this I discovered recently.

As any other student of a language would, I bought a Spanish to English/English to Spanish dictionary. Should have been easy enough except for the fact that I have occasionally used words from the dictionary and people have had no idea what I was saying. After consulting with my tutor I discovered my dictionary is a Spanish for Spain dictionary and that was what was causing my problems. Of course this important piece of information was not printed on the dictionary.

Learn Spanish On Line – Easy As One, Two, Three

I live in Caracas, Venezuela and spend my entire day speaking in English. Sounds bizarre right; I live in a Spanish speaking country and speak English all day. Well as an English teacher it is my job and one I don’t really mind. The only problem is that after three months here my Spanish is still only mediocre at best and that is probably being generous. I finally got myself a tutor and that seems to help, however before that I had actually resorted to trying to learn Spanish on line. Yes I was that girl in the internet café taking notes in her little notebook. The people around me (all of whom I am sure spoke Spanish) would glance at my computer screen or my notebook and then give me weird looks. Apparently it is a little uncommon to be studying Spanish in an internet café in a Spanish speaking country; I guess I missed the memo.

When I decide to learn Spanish on line I did a search and was quickly inundated with thousands of sights most of which ended up being irrelevant. However after a frustrating afternoon of trying to figure out which sites were actually helpful I came across one that seems to know what it is talking about and provides a wealth of information for free. LearnSpanish.com has been extremely helpful. Of course its ultimate goal is to sell you a product the free information is quite extensive and very well explained. There are numerous very good examples that are well explained and following the lessons there are free quizzes to test your knowledge.

There are numerous sites like this, and I am sure some of them are equally effective and well done. However most will want to sell you a product, probably a home study kit, and the information on the site is simply to help you enough to entice you into buying the kit.

Learn Spanish On The Internet –It Couldn’t Be Easier

Like just about anything these days learning Spanish is a service that can be found on the internet. Nowadays it is possible to order just about anything you want on the internet, so much so that you could probably live a very long time without ever having to leave your house or interact with another human being. How you can learn a language this way though is lost on me.

I guess it is possible to memorize words and grammar rules. You can gain an understating of the structure of the language and learn how to write and read; however speaking is a different matter. Personally I think if you learn Spanish only on the internet you are missing some of the important nuances that exist in the language. Your pronunciation will probably be horrible as you will have no one to correct you. Your conversational skills will definitely be lacking as you will have no basic knowledge of how to hold a conversation in Spanish.

In theory I assume it is possible to “learn” the words and form of the language on the internet but you will have no grasp of intonation or the many colloquial phrases used in everyday conversation; these of course being mostly specific to the country in which you are speaking.

There are many sites to learn Spanish on the internet, offering varying levels of assistance. Most require the purchase of software for true help as one would expect. They are worth it if you have no other way, but will probably leave you at a severe deficit when it comes to actually speaking.

I think the language is valuable, and I recommend to all that are able, to relocate to a Spanish speaking country where you can learn not only the language but also about the culture from which it stems.

Learn Spanish Online – Amazingly Simple

The invention of the internet has made everything easier right? You can now shop online, send letters, find information at the drop of a hat, even find your house in satellite pictures on Google Earth. However, you would of course think that as learning a language involves speaking, this is something you would not be able to do online. You would be wrong. If you type learn Spanish online into Google you get approximately 72 million results. Now as with anything else, I am sure most of these are useless but you see my point.

There are now many websites that allow you free access to conversation exercises and vocabulary drills among other things. My personal favorite is LearnSpanish.com. I am sure it is structured much like its competitors however when I find something I like I tend to stick with it. This site allows you access to an amazing amount of drills and exercises for free. It of course also has another more extensive version that you have to pay for as I am sure most of the websites do.

So you can very simply sit in front of your computer and commence your lessons. My one recommendation though, is that if you plan to learn Spanish online, do not do what I did and go to an internet café to do so. If you do not have a computer try to find a friend that will let you borrow a laptop or come to their house to study. Trust me when I say it is very difficult to do pronunciation drills with 20 people who all speak the language perfectly sitting around and looking at you like you have lost your mind.

Of course it is probably close to impossible to actually learn Spanish solely online as it is quite necessary to hear the pronunciation and practice with actual human beings in order to be able to carry on a conversation. However if you are looking for some base knowledge to work with the internet provides a wealth of possibilities.

Learn Spanish Online - How You Should Choose One?

So, you have decided to broaden your horizons some and learn a new language? That's wonderful. Learning Spanish can be a fun and exciting process if you have access to the right kinds of resources. There are many different things you should look for in an online Spanish course, and here you will find the most important ones.

Utilizing a great Spanish teacher can be the perfect way to learn another great language. Learning Spanish will help you in many different ways. You will have greater possibilities at work, in your personal life and more. If you want to find a great Spanish teacher to help you learn, here are some pointers.

Choose something you will be able to do at any time -

You want to make sure that your online Spanish course can be utilized when you have the time. We are simply too busy these days to cut out a few hours at the same time each day to learn Spanish. However, if you're able to learn in your down time and when you have an extra hour or two, you will find it much easier to stick to the course. You will enjoy it more if you are able to learn when you feel like learning rather than a scheduled course that requires you to learn at a certain time every day, whether you have plans or not.

Find a course that is fun as well as educational -

When you are having fun, you don't become bored, tired, or discouraged. Different online Spanish courses take advantage of this fact and make their programs fun as well as educational. This makes learning Spanish easier, faster, and better than some of the programs that are entirely educational with no attempt at fun. When you are searching for a great course to learn Spanish with, search for something that looks fun and entertaining. The last thing you want to do is find something extremely boring and end up giving up on learning Spanish altogether.

Check Your Local Community College -

This is a great way to find an experienced Spanish teacher who may either suggest that you join a class or point you in the right direction of a tutor who would like to help you learn Spanish. You will most likely find someone who will be willing to help you learn for a fee that's not too expensive. Make sure that if you find a Spanish teacher in this way, you check references and ensure this person is qualified to teach you and has had success teaching others to speak Spanish.

Check for Local Spanish Teachers Online -

A great way to find respectable Spanish teachers is to search for local ones online. You can simply search for one in your hometown or city and contact them to find out their fees and how they work. By asking for references and success rates, you can find a great teacher. One word of advice is to meet the teacher in a public place, such as a restaurant, and ensure that you feel comfortable with them and that they are someone you would feel comfortable learning from.

Find a course that utilizes several different learning methods -

We each learn in different ways. For one person, to see and identify with things may help them learn, but for another it could be hearing and writing that helps them learn things. A course that uses several different teaching methods within their programs will have the most success with different people. Using several methods may make it easier for each person to learn Spanish, as well. Looking at different pictures, hearing the words, and even writing the words are all a great idea. This allows you to become absorbed in what you are learning and to use more than one of the five senses to take the information in. In turn, you will retain the information better and be able to call on it and apply it when you need to.

Another great way to ensure that you've found the right teacher is to talk to them about past clients. Find out how successful the lessons were, how long they took on average, and whether the clients learned simple phrases or fluent Spanish.

There are many great Spanish teachers available who work one lesson at a time. Utilize the tips and ideas to find the perfect Spanish teacher for you.

Learn Spanish Submerge Yourself in Speech!

One of the most effective ways to learn Spanish is through what is known as immersion, where the language student not only spends a portion of their time in a classroom environment, but also lives within a Spanish speaking community for a period of time. Whether you visit Madrid or Mexico, living and breathing the Spanish culture and language will help you reach fluency faster.

Spanish immersion programs have been popular for many years for one simple reason – they work. And the logic behind this success is simple. Studying in the classroom necessarily lasts a couple of hours at most, for reasons as wide ranging as teacher availability to the duration of student concentration. Learning Spanish through an immersion program, however, takes learning out of the confines of the classroom and releases into the realm of real life.

Immersion language learning works as simply as it sounds – the student is immersed into a Spanish environment that does not cease to educate after an hour, as learning in the classroom does. Immersion learning works best, however, when combined with classroom sessions, as the Spanish-speaking environment affords the student an opportunity to practice what they have learned.

Learning Spanish is not a theoretical process, it is one that involves practical use of what is being learned. By being immersed in a Spanish-speaking community, the student cannot simply the leave the classroom behind, along with what they have learnt that day – the environment demands that their new knowledge be utilized every time they visit the store, or take a bus. It is practice that is the key to acquiring the comfort and familiarity with a language that leads to fluency, and by implementing Spanish immersion in a student’s training, this familiarity is quickly earned by speaking the language all the time.

An added benefit of most Spanish immersion programmes is that they involve the participation of a Spanish speaking family with whom the student resides. The friendly environment found in a family home is the perfect place to take those first, faltering language steps. Involvement in a family also gives the student a realistic flavor of Spanish culture, expanding the learning experience and bringing the language alive.

So learn to speak Spanish the best way – with real people, in the real world.

Learn Spanish To Boost Your Career And Surprise Your Girlfriend

If you are looking to learn Spanish it is not as hard as you think trust me. When I was going through college I had a "mental block" when it came to learning Spanish. I perceived it to be harder to learn than it actually was. Since I no longer have access to the information at my local college, I began to look online at Spanish software programs. I looked and looked night after night for a software that would fit my needs.

Do you have a Latin girlfriend or boyfriend? Then you know what it feels like when they unleash their words of passion in Spanish during your private moments.

Would you like to give it back at them?

You don't need to speak fluent Spanish. Learn to ignite the fire of your lover with some sexy and romantic phrases in their own language. Heck, you can even turn on lovers who don't even speak Spanish with a few well timed passionate phrases.

Here are a few ways to use this hot, sexy language to your advantage.

Learn a Few Phrases

The first step is to learn some sexy or romantic Spanish words and phrases. Here's a couple to begin with.

My love. Mi amor. (mee ah-mohr.)

I've never felt this way before. Nunca me he sentido así. (noon-kah meh eh sehn-tee-doh ah-sEE.)

I've been thinking about you. He estado pensando en ti. (eh ehs-tah-doh pehn-sahn-doh ehn tee.)

I can't live without you. No puedo vivir sin ti. (noh pweh-doh vee-veer seen tee.)

I want you. Te deseo. (teh deh-seh-oh.)

I love you. Te amo. (teh ah-moh.)

Kiss me. Bésame. (bEH-sah-meh.)

Make love to me. Hazme el amor. (ahs-meh ehl ah-mohr.)

Pronunciation and Accent

Knowing the words and phrases is a good start. But they will be most effective if you say them the right way. Before you attempt to melt your lover with words, practice.

Number one, pronounce the word correctly. If you know someone who speaks the language, ask them to demonstrate the word or phrase for you. If you don't know someone who speaks Spanish, find a book or website that "spells out" each word phonetically.

Also, really try to understand what each word in a phrase means. Actually knowing what you are saying when you say it, and actually meaning it, will put more power behind the words.

Spanish is one of the sexiest languages around. And, by learning a few simple words and phrases, you can begin to master the art of making love with words.

Learn Spanish Words – It’s A Breeze

What are the first words learned when living in a foreign country? Well I can tell you when I started to learn Spanish words the first ones I picked up and began to use were the swear words. Why is that? Why do we focus on the negative aspects of a language first? The first thing we want to be able to do is yell at people and express our displeasure eloquently. Why do we not instead ask how to say something is amazing, or delicious, or fabulous? So to learn these important Spanish words the first thing we do when we get of the plane is make friends and ask them how to swear.

Well what about learning other Spanish words? Reading is a good way. Pick up the local newspaper and translate all the words you don’t know. This takes a long time and can be frustrating but is very effective. I have also found it helps to write down the words you learn to get a visual of them as you memorize them. It is a lot easier to remember a word when you know how it is spelled. You can figure out the pronunciation and remember it better than simply listening to your friend with the very strong Spanish accent say it and trying to imitate.

Unfortunately sometimes it seems like the more words you learn the more you don’t know. I constantly learn new Spanish words and think I can now say what I want until I try to formulate a sentence and realize there are 5 other words I need. It is a never-ending uphill battle to learn all I need.
